It's a...

We've had the complete ultrasound done today, and I finally feel comfortable enough to write about this pregnancy and baby. Number 3!

This is baby's profile at 11 weeks.

This is me and belly a couple of days ago, 19 weeks pregnant.

And... Today! Waving at all of us, baby number 3, baby BOY is saying hi!

Cute feet :)

We watched the screen as the ultrasound tech started the show and were blown away a few seconds later when she said: congratulations on your baby BOY!
We all had a feeling it's a boy this time, but I guess since all we have is girls hearing it's a boy just wasn't easy to digest... The baby is well and weighs 11oz. The due date is still some time between 16-19 of August.
Because I'm diabetic, we'll have a fetal cardiac test just to make sure all is well with his heart in 3 weeks.
We are very excited and happy and grateful and thankful!
I'm feeling really good today, after feeling very nervous needing to find out all is well with the little pumpkin, I left with a good feeling and now I'm off to take care of my baby and I - inject insulin and eat!
Health and Happiness!!!

Happy Purim!

Today we celebrate Purim. It's a beautiful holiday with a beautiful story about a heroic Jewish woman, named Esther who became the queen of Persia and rescued the Jewish people from all sorts of evils. On Purim we dress up as... anything, but mostly it's easy to notice lots of queens and princesses :) There's always a carnival at the temple and it's a great time that usually makes me feel like a child again. I usually dress up as something other than my self, but this time, it was a little hard to come up with an idea, especially when it takes me forever to find an outfit that actually fits me... Everything I have is either too small or too big...

To see my girls loving the holiday and get fascinated with the story and how they know all the characters is priceless. Today I feel so lucky to have my Lia and Maya right here with me - They are my beautiful, adorable, smart, goofy, sweet daughters who make me so happy and I love them so much, words cannot describe.

My very good friends Kineret and Mikey just had their fourth daughter today in L.A. I would like to congratulate them here. Mazal Tov ! I am so happy and excited for you! Can't wait to see a photo! Lots of health, happiness, love, hugs and kisses from all of us here - Lia, Maya, Mikey and I.

Shabbat dinner. These candles are the candles we light every Friday night before we start to eat dinner. When we light the Shabbat candles, I cover my face, close my eyes, take a very deep cleansing breath and whisper all the wishes and prayers I have for all the people I can think of in that same moment. Most of them mainly are health and happiness for all. I wish good things to a lot of people I know randomly in different moments of the day, the week, the month. But this time is special. Official.
I love the fact that the girls are starting to copy me and it's the cutest thing to see them covering their eyes at the same time as well :)

Yes, so we're all pregnant here at the Waite residence ;) it's pretty much catchy here...
It's so funny how the girls are convinced they are pregnant just like me. Yesterday Lia was telling me she's pregnant and the baby will come out only in two years!
After Shabbat dinner, the girls were dancing around with babies in their shirts. Mikey was out of sight and then suddenly I saw him coming down the stairs... Pregnant too!
We had great laughs! They looked so cute, I had to grab the good old cam and stage them for a little photo shoot :D

And this is me, in my 18th week of pregnancy. The bump is so out there...!

Hope you all have a lovely peaceful weekend!

About two weeks ago I had the honor of taking maternity photos of Maria and her lovely family. Maria has two sweet boys who are, like my own girls 15 months apart and now she is expecting a little princess. I can't wait to meet her!
These are two photos from Maria's session, both of her and her very supportive husband:

Other than that I'm still working on the girls' preschool portraits. A lot. Last night we had a committee meeting and I showed a slide show of all the portraits that I'm done working on by now, which are most of them (about 80 children at the preschool), and was very pleased to get real good feedback :)
All the women said I must have been working so hard on this project and I had to be honest and said, lets just say you don't want to see my house right now... I haven't been quite the housewife/mother/wife lately... Speaking of, Mikey just reminded me, while he's cleaning the bathrooms - somebody has to do it, and I'm so lucky he does, I needed to finish changing our sheets. So just imagine me whining like a brat while ending this post... ;)
I'm actually feeling very good lately and hopefully I will put up another post with all the cool happy moments that have been happening to us in the past week.
